I’m a poet & I want the world to know it.

My love of poetry emerged after I read Sylvia Plath’s “Mad Girl’s Love Song” at age 17. I studied the craft during undergrad and practiced my performance skills at many an open mic. My work has appeared in Belt Publishing, Foglifter, and Nomadic Ground, and I was a 2017 Pushcart Prize in Poetry nominee.

This poem appeared in the inaugural issue of Foglifter, and received a nomination for the Pushcart Prize in Poetry in 2017.

This poem is a love letter to Lexapro.

This poem appeared in Nomadic Ground and is one of my favorites.

This poem appeared in the Belt Publishing anthology Sweeter Voices Still alongside “To Love the Horseman of Famine.”
